Poxcat is a Brussels based collective whose objective is to promote and augment the visibility of DJ, producers and musicians who identify themselves as female gendered through the organisation of parties and the broadcast of radio shows and of podcasts.   Members of the collective are regularly invited to play at various parties and happenings, but also to be the organisers of such. Poxcat is a voluntary and independent project. In the case of events organised by Poxcat, the economic system consists of an equal distribution of the benefits between all participants.

Poxcat est un collectif Bruxellois formé en 2017 avec pour objectif de rendre visible et de promouvoir les DJ, productrices et musiciennes s’identifiant au genre féminin à travers l’organisation d’événements festifs, la diffusion d’émissions radiophoniques et de podcasts.  Les membres du collectif sont régulièrement amenées à animer des soirées diverses et variées sous invitation, ainsi qu’à en être les organisatrices. Poxcat est un projet bénévole et indépendant. Dans le cas d’évènements organisés par nos soins, le système économique consiste en une répartition équitable des recettes des entrées entre toutes les participantes.
